Originally from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Coach House attended Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, TX where he played collegiate basketball for four years and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business and Hospitality Management in 1994. While there he was recognized with several honors including All Region, All District, All State, and 1994 All Area player of the year. He was also recognized as the Most Valuable Student-Athlete of his senior class. Most impressive was Coach House’s 72.1 field goal percent leading him to be named the NAIA’s 1994 National Statistical Leader.
His coaching career started in 2006 at Beverly Hills High School as an assistant for 2 years under Luis Turcios. He then went on to Ribét Academy where he spent 4 years also as an assistant under William Middlebrooks. There in 2010 the school won the CIF Division 6 title and advanced to the quarter finals in 2011 and Regional state semi-finals in 2012 respectively. Moving on to Cathedral High School with Coach Middlebrooks, the Phantoms made back to back runs in the Southern section CIF and State playoffs, and were nominated as one of the teams in the inaugural CIF Open Division in 2013-14 season. The team also reached No. 13 in the state rankings during the 2014-15 that period. Coach House then moved on to Blair High School in 2018 where he spent 2 years in the roles as assistant coach, practice planning, film coordinator, player development and whatever functions deemed necessary to ensure full functionality of the program While at Blair, Coach House groomed 4 players to receive nominations to the All Rio Hondo League 1st and 2nd teams.
His dedication to student athletes has enabled Coach House to aid several students in achieving their dreams to go to college. He has also had the honor of seeing several of his former student-athletes play professionally in the National Basketball Association and various leagues in Asia, Europe, Australia and other countries around the world.
Coach House currently lives in Pasadena with his beautiful wife Trinette and twin sons Elijah and Noah.
